“The Kite” Story Summary:
In the Bible, the Good Samaritan parable describes a man had an unexpected accident without getting any help. Even the good-hearted and high integrity people walked around him. However, an unknown Samaritan reached out his hands to help this man. Jesus asked people to ponder a question: “Who is the victim’s neighbor?”
“The Kite” tells the migration story of a Hong Kong family to North America. One of the sons got into an unexpected accident but was only saved by a stranger. Who is his good neighbor?
There may be many despised people around us. Will we accept them as our neighbor? Their lives are affecting our lives.
Kite floats in the air. When you can understand the wind direction, you can master flying a kite. It is similar to our fate and fortune. As long as the line is not broken and allow God to hold our hands, we can be full of hope. Rely on the God’s never give up hands, we will eventually reach the destination of happiness.
